  • Specifying your mic hole requirements

Mic holes allow sound engineers to insert a microphone into your bass drum for live performance and recording. All 3 sizes will accommodate the majority of drum microphones.

You must select the positioning of your mic hole(s) according to placing on a clock face; for example, a mic hole at 5 O'Clock will be situated in the bottom right of the drum head as you look at it.

You can also add a reinforcer to protect the drum head from splitting when microphones are inserted/removed, and the general rigours of live performance. Holz reinforcers are plastic snap on rings which not only protect but enhance the sound of your bass drum. They are available in black, white or chrome.
